Institution referral FAQ

Who can I refer?

Any college or university decision-maker: TPO (Training & Placement Officer), CDC director, Dean, Principal, or a placement coordinator. If they're the person who can approve a Charvak pilot, they're a referral.

What counts as a "converted referral"?

The institution must sign a paid Charvak contract (Department at ₹49,999/yr, Campus at ₹1,99,999/yr, or University at ₹4,99,999/yr). Free pilot alone doesn't count — but pilot conversion usually happens within 4 weeks.

How is commission calculated?

Percentage of Year 1 contract value only. If they renew in Year 2, no additional commission on renewals for institution deals (unlike employer referrals which are recurring). The commission is paid 50% at signing, 50% after 30-day retention.

Do you offer a co-branded one-pager?

Yes, at Partner tier (6+ referrals). We create a co-branded PDF with your logo + Charvak's for you to send directly to TPOs. Includes your contact info so they know exactly who referred them.

What about TPOs referring other TPOs?

TPOs who refer other TPOs get 10% commission + free pilot for their own college (8 weeks instead of 4) + featured case study with both logos.

Is this open globally?

Yes. The US, UK, EU, UAE, Singapore, Australia, and India are all eligible. Payout via Razorpay (INR) or PayPal (USD, GBP, EUR, AED, SGD, AUD).
